Jim graduated college in 1989 and changed careers a dozen times before finding his purpose in life- fixing bicycles. He still has a full head of hair and probably wouldn't choose another vocation unless he won a million dollars or suddenly became a virtuoso on guitar. Member of one of the goofiest bike teams around (Team Seagal), Jim spends ample amounts of time on the mountain bike and racing cyclocross. He loves that his work is ever-changing even after 18 years and is more often fun than not.
A few questions for Jim:
1.) What is the best part of your job? The gratification I get when I fix a customer's problems.
2.) What got you interested in cycling? I was fat. I still am but now have muscle beneath.
3.) What is your dream bike? A Lynskey R340 with Dura Ace Di2.
4.) Who has inspired your love of bikes? Steven Seagal!
5.) In the last year, what has made cycling better for you? The addition of CX racing. Pure hell! Pure fun!
