Jay  - Upright Mechanic

Jay is the most established employee here at the shop. He once worked for a legal newspaper before becoming a bicycle mechanic and has been at Maplewood Bicycle since the Reagan administration! A die hard communter and loyal White Castle customer, Jay brings wittiness, wisdom, and quirky longevity to the Maplewood family.

A few questions for Jay:

1.) What is the best part of your job?  Making or finding and using tools most shops haven't even seen.

2.) What is the article of cycling clothing you couldn't live without? Neon.

3.) What is your dream bike? When I wake up, I can't remember.

4.) Do you use any energy supplements? White Castle's coffee. (2 cups a day)

5.) If you could ride your bike anywhere, where would it be? Somewhere warm.
