Bike Fit
Getting a "bike fit" is the single most important aspect of purchasing a new bike. You can buy the greatest bike in the world, but if does not fit properly it will be uncomfortable and possibly cause injury.
All of our bike fits are done by appointment and can be done before purchase or on an existing bike.
- Our Level 1 fitting with Tim, Stewart, Mike, or Jessica, Certified Bike Fitters, takes 1 hour and costs $100.
(This fit is performed by one of our Certified Fitters with more precision and they can identify if you might need more correction to minimize any potential issues for your own personal comfort and power needs)
- Our Level 2, all-out, race fit is 2 hours and costs $200. Performed by Tim or Stewart, Master Bike Fitters
(This is a more empirical fit with the utilization of the Computrainer and Dartfish 2D video motion capture system. We will conduct a brief examination of things like your flexibility, foot support needs, knee tracking, personal injury and current issues. With the technology of Dartfish and the information from Computrainer we can find that optimal point in which you are properly balanced, powerful, efficient, and comfortable all in one. Pre fit measurements and post measurements will be documented as well as your computrainer numbers will be given to you once the fit process is finished.)
- Our Level 3,Retul Dynamic Motion Capture fitting is 3 hours and costs $300. Performed by Tim or Stewart, Master Bike Fitters
(This is the most accurate and state of the art fitting tool available today. With live LED's installed in 8 key points on your body, Retul measures and quantifies with in a millimeter what movement patterns and body angles you are conducting throughout the entire pedal revolution. Once we measure both sides of your body, along with our physical assessment, we can then start to provide you with the correcting methods and bike set up changes to balance you effectively for the perfect power to comfort ratio to maximize the efficiency within your pedal stroke and aerodynamic benefits. This is also a great tool to quantify and therefore fix many issues or injuries you may have or to prevent them.)
- Additional time will be billed at $100 per hour over the normal time as stated above.
